Concentration or Memory is a matching card game. The goal is to remember where each card is when they are face down. You can play with any deck of cards, whether that’s the classic set or cards from another game, as long as you have pairs.
For a regular 52-card deck, sort through the cards and remove the joker. Depending on the age of your child, you may want to reduce the number of cards they are playing with.
Your child can play concentration solo. This is also a fun game for 2 kids to play together.

How to play concentration
1. Card setup.
Make sure you remove any instructions or extra cards and shuffle the deck. Lay out the cards face down in a grid.
2. Playing concentration.
To play, turn over one card and lay it face up. Turn over a second card. If they match, take the pair and set them aside. If they don’t match, turn both cards back over. Remember where those cards were. Repeat, turning over cards and trying to match pairs.
For 2 players, take turns flipping cards.

3. How to win.
For a single player, the game is over when all the cards are paired.
For 2 players, the game ends when all the cards are paired. The player with more pairs is the winner.
