Summer is a great time for kids to branch out and learn about something new that interests them. Your child can explore a topic they love without worrying about grades and homework. It might even become a new favorite hobby.
STEM learning incorporates science, technology, engineering, and math into valuable real-world applications through hands-on activities. Often STEM activities cross disciplines and combine 2 or more topics together.
Not only do these activities focus on a specific subject, but they also teach critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. For kids of all ages, this can be a fun way to test an idea and, even if it fails, learn and try again.
We’ve collected kids’ activities for each of the 4 subjects below. For help explaining subjects and concepts, check out some of the educational YouTube channels we enjoy.
