The next color in our educational series is green! Make some of these fun crafts below and learn about green animals like frogs and turtles, plants, and even magical monsters and dragons.

This would be fun to do as part of a color study unit or while learning about nature. There are so many fun ways to include green crafts in your summer playtime schedule.

Green craft inspiration

  • Green is a color that you’ll see in nature frequently. Go on a nature walk and point out green things you see.
  • Pick up picture books from the library that are filled with shades of green, like these nature books.
  • Take this activity up a level for bigger kids. Craft with blue and yellow paint, then combine them to make green.
